Mar's Uproar

There is no excuse to social conduct. It is either you observe it or you don't regardless of whatever issue or whoever is concerned. No matter how bad Philippine Senator Mar Roxas thinks of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, he should have first thought of his senatorial position because cursing PGMA will not make her leave the presidency, but it will only show so much emotionalism in the quest for justice from his end which he wanted to be at parallel to the broad masses of Filipino people opposing charter amendments.

A show of unity to oppose "chacha" is just, but the delivery of truth must not be done with a curse.

Roxas justified his cuss saying it was what he and the public felt toward the issue. What the public felt as being against the charter change is acceptable and expected. But what Mar Roxas did was unexpected and to a large degree, misunderstood.

Curses do more harm than good. Publicity however, bad or good, is still publicity.

You're right, Princess, publicity, good or bad, is still publicity amd many have mastered that art, especially movie stars and presidentiables.
